    吃屁变蚂蚁

     

          alex说,他们小时候听来个说法,叫做“吃屁变蚂蚁”。

          我说这是不是放屁人对闻屁人的一种诅咒?

           他说不是。

          我说那到底是什么呢?

           他说大概类似一种成语吧。

          这种回答显然不能让我满意。于是百度了一下,发现百度知道和雅虎知识堂里都有人问吃屁变蚂蚁的意思,说明这个说法还真是有广泛的流传度。至于回答者往往以荒唐为责备或干脆开玩笑说“变别的动物也可以,不信你试试看”,窃以为是因为发问的方式不对——与其问“为什么吃屁会变蚂蚁”,不如问“吃屁变蚂蚁”是什么意思。对后一种问法的回答,有人说“没什么含义,只不过是一句顺口溜而已”,然而没有人给出使用这种顺口溜的语境。

          既然没有答案,我只好胡乱联想。

         首先想到的是小侄子,他那个时候很小,刚刚在幼儿园经验过一点社会生活,大概打过小架,有过一小点人群中的孤独落寞,对于人的恶毒攻击仅限于一些贫乏的词汇,比如“你就是一只小蚂蚁!那么小,那么小的一只小蚂蚁!”然后表情狰狞地哈哈大笑,自以为触到了别人的痛处,完成了攻击的使命。

        奇怪的是,这么一种滑稽或者说拙劣的表达我一直到现在都记得很清楚,并渐渐感到它创意十足且风度翩翩。这个结论得自同两个东西的比较。第一是,《鹿鼎记》里有一段韦小宝和俄军对阵的戏,按中国规矩,开战之前先要大骂一通,以灭对方志气并长自家威风。对峙双方语言不通,骂得都很起劲。韦小宝派翻译官译出俄军的骂人内容,发现无非都是“猪猡”一类的初级水平,不禁为我大汉民族丰富的相骂词汇感到骄傲。第二是,网络上流行的攻击词汇越来越恶毒,“脑残”等等算是轻度骂语,启用大便或者性器官更是常见的事,浏览论坛不时让人感到眼睛刺痛不忍卒视。

        刚才在solana逛街,十点钟zara即将关门,排队交钱的时候旁边有一个洋妞,气急败坏地抱怨了一句“so rude”,大概是我后面的女孩把衣服抢先扔到了柜台上。排队的孰是孰非像家务事一样讲不清楚,其实也就是差那么几分钟的一前一后,不如心里暗骂一句“只不过是一只小蚂蚁”,多轻松释然呢。
